About FoSBees

FoSBees is a group of parents who get together to plan events and raise funds for additional equipment to benefit the school.

In past years, we have raised money for new sports kit, new educational toys like large playground blocks for the Foundation class and help towards repairs to the school swimming pool (which is costly for the school and an invaluable resource).  Most recently we have bought 15 new iPads for the children to use.

The PTA also provides presents for children leaving the school in Year 6 (traditionally dictionaries) and Easter eggs for the annual egg hunt.

In September each year, the AGM is held.  This is the time when the school provides a wish list of new equipment they would like and FoSBees decides which events to hold throughout the year.  The regular events are as follows but at the AGM, we discuss whether to hold an additional event such as a quiz night or barn dance.

Get involved

To get involved, contact Emma Connor or by handing in a note at reception and we can let you know when meetings are due to be held so that you can come along. FOSBees also has a private Facebook group that is open to all parents, staff, family & friends of Steeple Bumpstead Primary School. It is to be used for discussing fundraising, social events and meetings connected to the school.
